Structure

Xbox Game Pass is similar to the video game subscription provided by EA called EA Access on Xbox One and the PlayStation Now service offered by rival Sony. 1.7.8The subscription catalogue contains more than 100 games at launch, with games added and sometimes removed from the catalogue. 9 Xbox Game Pass allows the player to download the full game to the console. According to Xbox manager Phil Spencer, the goal was to provide players with “a continuous and loyal game without worrying about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues.” 10Unlike EA Access, Xbox Game Pass offers games from a wide range of publishers, such as Namco, Capcom, WB Games, 2K Games, Bethesda Softworks and games at the first part of Xbox Game Studios9.

The catalog features games selected for Xbox One as well as selected titles for Xbox 360 and Xbox with which Xbox One is compatible with previous versions. 10 There is no limit to the number of games a player can download and install on their consoles, other than the amount of storage available on the console. [13] As long as a game remains in the catalog, it is available for unlimited download and can be read by subscribers. 10Players can buy games in the catalog with a 20% discount and any additional content associated with these games with a 10% discount. The discounted price is only available while the game is in the catalog and only for the game in particular; For comparison, the EA Access 10% subscriber discount applies to any content published by EA, not just the content in its subscription catalog. 10 Catalog games can be played when the console is offline, but no more than 30 days before you need to reconnect to check an active subscription11.

If the game is removed from the catalog by Microsoft or the player ends its subscription, access is suspended until the player buys the game or renews its subscription, but their progress in the game is recorded. 10 If the game is an Xbox 360 title, it will be compatible with the previous version and must be used on Xbox One. it cannot be downloaded to a player’s Xbox 360 console unless the player decides to buy it
